Since I started getting into cigars. I also started keeping a log of them as I kept trying new ones. I use Untappd to track beers I try. There’s not really a great cigar equivalent. Hence, this list. Not exactly verbose but enough to remember them by and any I considered good enough to be definite ones to pick up again get bolded. Since I’m sharing this list now though I’m going to highlight any that have become my go to cigars. These are the ones I'm going to recommend to anyone without reservation more or less.
- Southern Draw Rose of Sharon - Creamy and spicy.
- Romeo y Julieta 1875 Connecticut-Nicaragua - Sweet and creamy. Second time with a longer size was far spicier at the end, quite pleasant. It was also far milder at the top. The form factor makes a big difference!
- **==Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne==** - very mild, very smooth. Top tier.
- Drew Estate Undercrown Shade - Fairly mild and smooth.
- Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Connecticut - much like the 10th anniversary above!
- **Henry Clay War Hawk** - Okay. Cigar Box dude made a solid recommendation.
- El Rey del Mundo Café Noir - Maybe wrong name. Supposed to be medium. Very nice. Not that much stronger tasting?
- Crowned Heads Mil Dias - noticeable cheaper construction? Decent flavor still. A reminder that recommendations help I suppose!
- Perdomo 10th Anniversary Maduro - Very nice! I prefer the Champagne still but this was extremely pleasant. Definitely felt stronger by the end.
- Black Crown - Not bad for what might be a cheaper cigar. Tended to tunnel just a bit.
- **==Perdomo 10th Anniversary Shade Grown==** - Super smooth. Top tier. Again. Maybe my new favorite?
- Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real - Fairly smooth so far. Okay. Quite creamy. The dual wrapper kept burning awkwardly though!
- My Father Connecticut - Noticeably tighter draw, but very pleasant flavor. Seems to be burning nicely too.
- Nica Libre Aganorsa - One of the more chocolate-y ones I’ve had. Uneven burn. But could be my humidor here.
- **==Inch Nicaragua==** - VERY NICE.
- Perdomo 20th Anniversary Shade Grown - Again nice, but I prefer the 10th Anniversary.
- Diesel Wicked - Okay very nice Maduro.
- **Southern Draw Firethorn** - Extremely nice! Similar to others I’ve dug. Peppery finish for sure.
- Inch Maduro - Easily the best Maduro I’ve tried.
- **Southern Draw Jacob’s Ladder** - Another very nice Maduro. Okay very fucking nice.
- **CAO BX3** - Super chocolatey and nice.
- **La Gloria Cubana Serie R Esteli Maduro** - Extremely pleasant.
- My Father Le Bijou 1922 - Pleasant but might need a second try to really judge.
- Perla del Mar Corojo - Raisins and tooth. Pretty pleasant!
- **==Olmec Maduro==** - Okay seriously nice! Not sure about nicer enough for the price. But nice!
- Gurkha Nicaragua - Not a bad one for sure.
- **Drew Estate 20 Acre Farm** - Very mild, very pleasant.
- ==**Flathead 660/770**== - Oh excellent.
- **My Father Don Pepin Garcia Original** - Excellent.
- **Punch Year of the Dragon 2024** - Another grand one. Short and fat.
- **Southern Draw Cedrus** - Very nice, probably the most unique of the Southern Draw ones I've tried.
- **Southern Draw Manzanita** - Seriously nice again.
- Southern Draw QuickDraw Habano - Not really feeling this one right away. Not bad as it goes. But not the biggest fan.
- Asylum 13 - Strong and peppery. Extremely peppery finish.
- Wise Man Corojo - Not bad but nowhere near as nice as the Olmec.
- **==My Father Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial== -** Super fucking good. Top tier.
- Nub Nuance Double Roast - Holy fuck chocolate and sweet.
- **==AVO Syncro Nicaragua==** - Super nice recommendation.
- **Olivia Series V Liga** - Very up my alley. Quite nice.
- Nub Maduro - Nice so far. Well made.
- **Romeo y Julieta 1875 Nicaragua** - Oh my way better than the prior one I'd tried that was a blend with a Connecticut. Very hot finish though.
- **Stillwell Star Aromatic No 22** - Definitely unique. Very much enjoyed.
- My Father The Judge - Pleasant, but not their best.
- **Perdomo 20th Anniversary Epicure Maduro** - Very nice!
- Asylum 13 BIGTIME TOMMIE - pretty solid!
- **New World Connecticut** - Very mild. Very nice
- Punch Diablo - Punch is consistently great.
- Aroma de Cuba El Jefe - Pretty nice!
- **The Banker Ingot** - Basically an elevated shade grown or fire thorn. Very damn nice.
- **Odyssey Coffee** - Not a huge fan of flavored cigars but this one is simply damn fine.
- **Camacho Corojo** - Toasted Marshmallow notes. Very fucking nice.
- Carrillo Honduras - Not bad but a little bit of a let down after the prior Honduran.
- **The Banker** - Very nice. Quite mild and smooth.
